About

Twenty years of learning to do more with less.

I'm Jason Bourque — a marketing director who never stopped being a designer, and a designer who taught himself to build the systems most companies pay outside vendors to build.

I got my start automating things nobody wanted to do by hand. At MFS Investment Management in Boston, that meant scripting the production of over a thousand mutual fund fact sheets a day — data pulls, chart generation, and layout, all running through an automated approval and publishing pipeline. At a small agency before that, it meant scripting an entire monthly newsletter pipeline because doing it by hand every month was insane.

That habit — automate the boring part, then go make the important part good — followed me to Ortho Technology, where I spent 18 years growing from a self-taught web designer (there was no web developer on staff, so I became one) into Senior Manager of Marketing Communications: running a $1.8M budget, sitting on the executive management team, and engineering a company-wide CRM from the ground up because the sales team was working out of five disconnected systems.

By the time I left to become Director of Marketing at RMO in 2023, “full-stack marketer” wasn't a buzzword to me — it was just how I'd always worked. I ran brand, art direction, e-commerce, and a global channel of 80+ distributors, led a company-wide rebrand and e-commerce relaunch, and in my spare cycles built an AI-powered marketing intelligence platform — solo — that still pulls 38 systems into 13 executive dashboards every single night without anyone touching it.

Jason's Mark is that same approach, aimed at businesses that don't have a marketing department to hand things off to. In practice, that means a Wesley Chapel business gets a website that's easier to update, marketing that's easier to understand, and fewer manual tasks eating into the week — from someone who's spent 20+ years building the real thing, not managing people who build it.

I'm based in Wesley Chapel, right here in the Tampa Bay area, which means I can meet in person if that's useful — and I've also worked remotely with teams across the country for years, so distance has never been the obstacle people expect it to be.

“There's a career-long pattern here, and it isn't subtle: take a small team, give it better tools than it should have, and watch it punch far above its weight.”
